November 01, 2018

According to a recent announcement, IoT and Edge Computing platform provider ClearBlade and semiconductor supplier AMD are expanding their partnership to deploy IoT and Edge Computing for the Enterprise.

AMD is evaluating ClearBlade’s IoT and Edge Computing platforms to accelerate the IoT proof of concepts, encourage the adoption of Edge Computing, and provide an enterprise IoT runtime to its customers, end users, OEMs, and partners for building secure, scalable IoT solutions that meet their business needs.

“AMD and ClearBlade plan to deliver a comprehensive Edge Computing experience for enterprises to act on data from any device and at extreme scale regardless of network connectivity,” said David Rosado, Industrial Segment Marketing Manager, Enterprise Solutions Business Unit, AMD.

ClearBlade and AMD collaborated on an Enterprise IoT Asset Tracking solution and demonstration for Embedded World last year.

“ClearBlade and AMD will be launching new demonstrations at upcoming trade shows and conferences,” said Eric Simone, CEO, ClearBlade.
