In this article, I explain a video on IoT architecture layers, evolving technology and its applications. IoT significance will grow exponentially, because it amplifies the power to create value and reshape competition. IoT will become the new interface between humans and things, bridging the digital and physical worlds.

Because IoT is a ball of confusion, let’s start with the basics of IoT, the architecture layers. The IoT architecture Layers will help you identify the different IoT services providers. Keep in mind, everyday new companies are emerging and major players are partnering, for example: Nokia & AT&T.

If you are new to the IoT industry, based on IoT, everything can be connected. IoT provides networking to connect people, things, applications, and data through the Internet to enable remote control, management, services, and interactive integrated sales & marketing. Internet of Things forecasts show a growing focus on driving results using sensor-based data and creating analytically rich data sets.

IoT Architecture Layers

What is a layer? In computer programming, layering is the organization of programming into separate functional components that interact in some sequential and hierarchical way, with each layer usually having an interface only to the layer above it and the layer below it. Let's take a deeper look into the technology that makes IoT possible. There are four mayor layers. The following video will explain it from the sensor connectivity and network layer.

IoT Ecosystem
Now that you understand the layers, the IoT Ecosystem sit in the intersection of cloud computing, computer management system, big data and mobility and could be a game changer for many industries. This information will help you identify some of the IoT players.
